Urban agriculture strategy consulting for urban vegetable gardens for the city of Vevey

Context and objective
The City of Vevey is an inspiring example for many municipalities when it comes to urban gardening. The green spaces department even grows vegetables directly in the flowerbeds, harmoniously blending flowers and vegetable gardens. However, the sustainability department noted a great diversity in the uses and profiles of the vegetable gardens, making their internal management complex. To avoid frustration and abandonment among gardeners, the City commissioned Légumes Perchés to help unify practices and establish a framework facilitating the harmonious management of vegetable gardens and their users.
