Context and objective
Légumes Perchés designed, installed and maintains Insolight’s pilot project combining urban agriculture and photovoltaic innovation. This experimental system is based on growing strawberries in gutters, installed under translucent solar panels developed by Insolight. The aim is to demonstrate the compatibility of food production and energy production in the same space, while optimising the light available to the plants. This pioneering project paves the way for new synergies between sustainable technologies and urban agriculture.
