Finalists for the SUD Prize organized by Le Temps

This third edition of the SUD Prize is bound to be special. Like pretty much every other event since March, its progress and organization have been regularly disrupted by the ups and downs of the COVID-19 pandemic... Légumes Perchés is also in the final. More than just an innovation, the Lausanne-based company is marketing a concept. Its four-person team installs rooftop vegetable gardens. Or, as it puts it, “edible surfaces.” In short: local, urban, pesticide-free agriculture. Légumes Perchés also organizes community and educational workshops, for example with nurseries and schools.
