In Vernier, residents and shopkeepers get their vegetables from rooftops
In Vernier, in the Étang district, 700 m² of urban vegetable gardens have been set up on rooftops to reconnect city dwellers with nature and strengthen ties between neighbors. Légumes Perchés supports the project by training residents. These vegetable gardens benefit residents, local employees, and businesses thanks to an urban farm dedicated to market gardening.
